The Opposite of Negative is ....
Some thoughts on being positive - when all about you is dragging you down - hopefully we can learn from this and take something into this next week. The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible and achieves the impossible. I guess the opposite is just as true in that a negative thinker actually feels invisible, feels frustration and depression tangibly and seldom achieves anything which is seemingly impossible. He is happy to get what he deserves. Instead of thinking about all that you may be missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing. We are unique and talented in our own way and we have been placed in this realm of the universe to serve a purpose and see the kingdom here on earth, even as it is in heaven. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Many people are happy if we are down and miserable because that way we are neutralised and ineffective. They thrive on the fact that they can distract us and hold us from our true calling, even using friendship, common interests, emotional distractions and manipulative circumstances to play on our feelings and gain enough grip in our lives, that we are kept away from what is truly in our future. Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns. We need to be thankful that thorns have roses. Success lies very close to the place where people around us are telling us that there is no way and what we are endeavouring is beyond possibility When you are in a valley keep your goal firmly in view and you will get the renewed energy to continue to climb. If you are sure that your goal is worth the pursuit, then hold your ground and humbly and quietly give thanks, that the true result will emerge from your efforts and that a happiness you only dreamed of, is more tangible than you think, if you will merely reach out and grab hold of it, not with fingertips, but with hands of steel and a grip so strong, that no one can wrench it from you. Robert Kennedy said, "some people see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not?"
