A year in the life of ...

How much difference can a year make in a business, or in our lives.  If we just ponder how things can change in an instant, such as an earthquake, then how much can change in a whole year.  Perhaps this is why we need to commit fully to every day and leave nothing in reserve, because every change could be the spark to greatness and every opportunity taken, may be the next link towards a complete success, or the ultimate change to a better life.  We need to pursue every endeavour with passion and be bold in what we want to achieve, because a year from now, we may have gone so much further than where we started today.  Of course there will be days in a year where it would seem that we have actually regressed and we could easily be back where we started, but it makes no sense to look merely on what today has offered and think that because it did not go as planned, that we have gone backwards.  It may be a day of moving sideways or shifting gears to the next step or recharging our batteries ahead of a move in the right direction.  It is more important always to ensure that when told that  we are biting off more than we can chew that we respond by saying that 'we would rather choke on greatness than nibble on mediocrity'.  Be inspired by whatever is your muse to take your goals and dreams to the next level and dare to have the guts to seek greatness in all you do.  This does not mean being insensitive or failing to care when it really matters, but it means showing the resolve and determination to build our future one block at a time.  We will be truly amazed to see what we can accomplish in 365 days and the number of smiles and blessings we can gather with an attitude towards serious, strategic and significant success.
