Caring is Sharing

Controlling your own direction is better than being controlled by it.  How often we are controlled by our circumstances, the situations that happen to us and the people that we interact with.  Do they inspire or encourage or are they simply there to frustrate us and make our lives more complicated, or unpleasant. How frustrating it must be to be part of a corporation that does not think about the individual but only about the bottom line.  Imagine waking up every day knowing that there is nothing you can do to change the culture or the profits or the logo of the company.  There is freedom in doing what you are passionate about and people thrive when they are given the scope to grow and make their own decisions.  I guess that is what attracts business man and women to creating their own brand and why people want to be in control of their own destiny.  Certainly very little support can be expected from our government and it is thus up to individuals to raise their flags and not white ones of surrender but war flags to take on injustice and unfair practices and unhappy relationships, and to look for ways to keep producing and growing and affording opportunities.  We might have to work a little harder and longer hours but service levels are increased and the customer or client ultimately gets the benefit, but so do the proprietors, because they have a vested interest in something that is theirs and which depends on their commitment and desire to succeed.  No one can take that freedom from your working day or the joy of a committed relationship and it is a blessing indeed.  So next time I think that I am overworked because my load is too great or find that I am unhappy with my lot or aspects of my life,  I would be wise to hold my tongue and look at the immense positives to owning a business and sharing a life with people that care.
