I am a Team

George Carlin said "we drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom and hate too often.  We have learned how to make a living, but not a life. We have added years to life, not life to years".  Lets face it we need to take stock sometimes of the lives we lead and how we cope with that which is dished up for us.  Traditionally we can make references to not hurting others or having the best intentions, but in reality deviation from the norm is what makes life fascinating and a journey towards completion.  It is no good just being a kiss arse conformist in this modern world - we have to adapt and many times it will feel that it is better to be an individualist, who is willing to buck the system and look for a way forward than to just mark time in the same habits and ruts. It is true that there is no "I" in Team, but there is an "I" in independence, individuality and integrity.  Stick to what is in you life today and remove the things that do not enhance your "I" - the rest will fall into place at exactly the right time.
